YQCA (Youth for the Quality Care of Animals) is required for ALL MEMBERS exhibiting animals at the County Fair.

Youth only exhibiting Horse and/or Small Animal (this includes dog) will have the option to take the YQCA certification training or one of the Alternative YQCA trainings.

Youth who completed YQCA training in 2025 are certified for three years and do not need to retake the training. However; if they are moving from a small animal; dog, horse, or static project to a large animal project (Beef, Swine, Goat, or Sheep), they will be required to complete the YQCA training online.

Once youth receive their certificate, they will need to email it to [email protected] or provide a copy to the Crook County Extension Office. Youth that submitted their certifications last year, do not need to re-submit their certificate.
Certificates are due by June 15th
