All of us a the Crooked River Model Railroad would like
to thank everyone who came to visit us during the Crook County Fair. Mother Nature had plans during the fair this year and it was a lot slower than normal and expected. But, everyone’s health is our number one priority. We hope to see everyone at Christmas In The Pines after visiting The Grimes Christmas Scene. As a reminder we are open to the public every Sunday from 1-4 pm except on major holiday weekends. We will be closed this Sunday August 16, 2026. See you all soon!

Hey everyone, it’s the final countdown and we have been busy getting ready for our Open House during the Crook County Fair, Friday, August 5th through August 8th, 2026! It’s just days away!

Come and check us out and learn about the history of the Oregon Trunk Railroad. Our layout dates back to the 1940s-60s.

We are located near the Carey Foster Hall on the Crook County Fairgrounds, by the entrance gate at Lynn Blvd.

Hours of operation are listed below. THERE IS NO ADMISSION, AND IT'S ALL FREE TO COME AND SEE US! ***DONATIONS ARE ACCEPTED TO HELP KEEP US OPEN***

Every hour, there will be an antique train horn blown from the building, and we will have a few signs around the fairgrounds as well.

Our hours will be as follows:

Wednesday, Aug. 5, 2026, 5:00 PM – 8:00 PM;
Thursday, Aug. 6, 2026, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM;
Friday, Aug. 7, 2026, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM;
Saturday, Aug. 8, 2026, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

The countdown is here! The Crooked River Model Railroad Clubs 34th Anniversary Open House and the Crook County Fair kicks off in just over a month! Let’s get ready for some awesome trains, food, music, exhibits, livestock and some good old-fashioned fair fun. Come and visit us at the Crooked River Model Railroad Club at the entrance on Lynn Blvd by the Carey Foster Hall! We will also have some Merch for sale as well!! See you at the Fair!!

We have two junior members Max & Devin that are in Washington DC that is representing Crook County High School and the Crook County NJROTC. Here is a picture of Max that was on KTVZ the other day. Devin & Max and the rest of the Crook County NJROTC Cadets will be in the Memorial Day Parade on Monday.
