What a fun afternoon our club had. First lunch at Chestnut Family Restaurant in Henry, followed by a tour of Ned Ransom's tractors, then off to Magnolia to see Gene and Nancy Johnson's tractors. All right in our backyard.

🌱🚜 **Volunteers Needed for Spring Planting 2026!** 🚜🌱

Three Sisters Park is gearing up for our annual **Spring Planting Program**, happening **April 28th, 29th, and 30th**, and we need YOUR help to make it a success!

🌽 **What is Spring Planting?** A School field trip, each year, we welcome 5th–7th grade students as a field trip for a hands-on journey back to **1918**, teaching them how farming was done in Central Illinois over a century ago.

Students rotate through **six interactive educational stations** where they learn about:
• Soil preparation
• Seed selection
• Corn planting using 1918 techniques
• Horse-drawn equipment
…and more!

They don’t just watch — they participate! This immersive experience helps them truly understand the hard work and methods our forefathers used at the turn of the century.

🕘 **Program Hours:** 9:00 AM – 1:30 PM
🕣 **Volunteer Hours:** 8:30 AM – 2:00 PM
📅 **Dates:** April 28, 29 & 30

This program relies heavily on volunteers each year to continue running, and we are looking to grow our volunteer team! We have multiple spots available and welcome anyone who enjoys history, agriculture, education, or simply giving back to our youth.

🍳🥪 **Breakfast and lunch are provided for all volunteers!**

If you’d like to help preserve history while inspiring the next generation, please comment below or message us to sign up! Check out our website for more information and to see each station and a little information on each.

Let’s keep this incredible tradition alive at Three Sisters Park! 🌾💚
