Some of our favorite Juneteenth t-shirts from last year's festival! We can't wait to see what y'all are gonna be rocking this year. See y'all in the garden this FRIDAY, Juneteenth!

This is a celebration of who we are and where we come from. Come out and enjoy a full afternoon with ya people right here in Tarboro!

We have entertainment lined up with sounds by DJ Smoov and MC Danisha, food, vendors, live music, and a kids' corner. Something for everyone, so bring the whole family out!

Our kids deserve to see themselves in the stories they grow up with 🤎 MOSS Kids Book Project is coming to the festival with 250+ free books for the kids in our community while supplies last. Yes, free! If you are not familiar with MOSS Kids, they are a nonprofit dedicated to getting diverse and inclusive books into the hands of children across North Carolina. They show up for our kids and we are so glad they are showing up for Juneteenth!

They are just one of the many vendors coming out to celebrate with us next week. Come shop, explore, and support your community at the 4th Annual Tarboro-Edgecombe Juneteenth Festival, June 19th from 3 to 8 PM.

FarmLympics Summer Camp 2026 is in full swing!

Our campers have harvested garlic at the East Tarboro ECO Garden, gone horseback riding, and gotten a real taste of what it means to connect with the land and the community around them. This is exactly what FarmLympics is about, we believe every child deserves to know where their food comes from, understand how it affects their health, and see agriculture as something that belongs to them! Watching that come to life in real time is something we never take for granted.

Our Junior Counselors have been busy as well. They sat down with Mayor Bobbie Jones of Princeville, NC, for professional development and we are so grateful to Mayor Jones for investing in our young leaders. These teenagers are giving their summer to this community and we love pouring right back into them.

The Kids Corner at our Tarboro-Edgecombe Juneteenth Festival is FREE and fully loaded. Games Gone Mobile is pulling up for the first time this year, plus bouncy houses, free activities, and 250+ free books for the youth !
