In honor of Aphasia Awareness Month 2026, we’ll be hitting the (virtual) road here on Join In. Come along with us from June 22nd – 28th with sessions all themed around travel, vacations, and adventures.

We’ll tour exciting locations, play travel games, and share our own experiences, all while practicing speech together!

Join us for an hour of creativity and casual conversation! Guided by facilitator Roux, Aphasia Craft Club invites members to chat, hang out, and work on a creative project of their choosing. All crafts are welcome: knitting, crocheting, painting, coloring, collaging, whatever you want to do!

⭐ FACILITATOR SPOTLIGHT ⭐

"Talk Story" is the Hawaiian cultural practice of sharing knowledge and experiences with others. We are thrilled that this monthly session is returning to Join In Aphasia, now facilitated by veteran member Lucy Hood!

Lucy is a longtime resident of Hawaii with a passion for building bonds and educating others. She is a stroke survivor, storyteller, and a pillar in our virtual community. Welcome to the facilitation team, Lucy!
