🐾 Rum Cay Spay/Neuter Clinic – A Huge Success!
What an incredible weekend for our island.
Thanks to everyone who supported the free spay/neuter clinic, we were able to make a real difference for Rum Cay’s animals and our community.
✨ Clinic Results:
• 11 dogs spayed/neutered
• 13 dogs treated for heartworm, fleas, and ticks
This is the kind of impact that changes the future of our potcakes — fewer unwanted litters, healthier dogs, and a safer, cleaner island for everyone.
A few very important thank yous:
• Ty & Casey Vernon — the true boots on the ground. None of this would have happened without your hard work, coordination, and commitment.
• Karl & Patrick — thank you for stepping in and helping make everything run smoothly.
• Dave Knowles — thank you for donating the use of your shop and allowing it to be transformed into a full clinic for the weekend.
• The amazing ladies who provided meals — your support kept the vet team going all day.
• And of course, Dr. Isaah Hanson and Raquel — for giving your entire Saturday to ensure every single animal was seen, treated, and cared for. Your dedication means the world to this island.
This clinic was a true community effort, and the results speak for themselves.
Thank you to everyone who played a part — big or small. Rum Cay’s animals are healthier today because of you. 🐶💛🏝️
