Engineers without Borders - Princeton University Dominican Republic

Engineers without Borders - Princeton University Dominican Republic The Dominican Republic Team at Princeton University is seeking to find a long term, sustainable solution to El Cajuil's water shortage problem.

Princeton EWB's Dominican Republic chapter is committed to bringing clean water solutions to El Cajuil, a 600 person community along the Haitian-DR border. With an existing water distribution system built 23 years ago when the community was less than half its current size, El Cajuil is unable to meet households' water demand. We seek to address this by building a new supply pipeline in addition to

building upon their water storage capacity and improving community understanding of safe and sustainable water practices.
