We recently completed the replacement of all roofs on our youth cabins and bathhouse!

The materials for this project were generously funded by numerous donors to which we are deeply grateful.

Labor cost were covered through memorial fund donations, made in honor of: Pat DeGroot, Richard Denney, Ellen Flewelling, Erwin Flewelling, Dr. Johnson McRorie, Helen Ross Pallard, Phyllis Ross, and Donald “Zip” Zipperian. 💕

We extend our heartfelt thanks to these families and friends who contributed in their loved ones’ memory, making it possible for us to continue our mission in the name of Jesus. 🙏

More work is happening on the Big Lake Campmeeting Grounds this week!

BLCA Board Members Ernest Carle and John Fuchs have been overseeing this project. We partnered with local contractor Richard Bailey to get an electric line safely buried before campers arrive next month.

We are incredibly thankful for the support of our volunteers and local partners that are helping us check off projects on our "Camp Improvements List".

Things have been very busy on the Campmeeting grounds this week!!

The remaining TWO girl cabins should be finished next weekend!

Dear Heavenly Father, We pray for the lives of our campers & counselors to be changed by the conversations and decisions that take place in these cabins. Lord, we ask that every camper that enters feels safe, loved, and seen. Bless the families of our Campers and that they might come to know and love Jesus, too. Make fertile the soil of their hearts, so that the seeds we plant during Campmeeting Week will sprout, grow, mature and bear fruit for your Glory! Thank you Lord for our campers, their families, our staff, our volunteers and the Big Lake Community! May Campmeeting Week be a time of renewing of faith and a blessing to everyone involved. May the Spirit of God fill these sacred spaces and fill them with His light and love.

We love our Big Lake Campmeeting Community!! We are so grateful for the ways that our volunteers come together to make Campmeeting Week and our maintenance projects a success!

A special shoutout to Scott Palmer for his contributions this week getting all of the new trim boards for the cabins and bathhouse painted! We pray that these boards and new metal roofs will last for many more generations to come!

We are beyond thankful for every volunteer and all their hard work! We couldn’t do Campmeeting Week without the support of our community! Thank you all!

The roofing project at Big Lake Campmeeting is officially underway! One cabin has already been completed!!!

We’re beyond grateful for everyone who has supported this project through donations, Memorial Funds, encouragement, and prayer.

We’re also especially thankful for our contractor, Mike Lursen. Mike and his wife, Kayla, have partnered with us on this project because they believe in the future of this ministry and the impact camp will have on generations to come — including their own children someday.

So many individuals have come together to make this facilities project a success! It’s a blessing to see generations of Big Lake Families and Camper Alums investing in the future of Big Lake Campmeeting.

Exciting things are happening at Big Lake Campmeeting! The materials for our new metal roofing project have officially been delivered, and we are so grateful to see this project beginning.

A heartfelt thank you to everyone who has supported this effort through donations and Memorial Funds given in loving memory of loved ones. Your generosity is helping preserve and maintain these camp facilities for future generations to come.

We’re thankful for a community that continues to invest in the ministry and legacy of Big Lake Campmeeting!

Campmeeting Preparations are already beginning on the Campgrounds!

Our bathhouse is getting a plumbing overhaul! These updates intend to make opening and closing the bathhouse easier at the beginning and end of the season! We also upgraded the hot water heaters!

Special shoutout of gratitude to our Executive Board Members and volunteer plumbers: Rachelle N Stephen Cox and John Fuchs for taking on this project! We are so thankful for your hard work!
