The Isaiah 1:17 Project Every child & family impacted by foster care matters. We meet physical, spiritual, & emotional needs You can make a difference,
one child at a time!
(1)

Children often enter foster care at a
moment's notice with little or no
possessions of their own. We want to rally
around them to show them, "We see you, we
love you, and you are valued!" Our Bags of
Hope are a tangible act of kindness and love
to help caseworkers, teachers and
counselors, emergency personal, and foster
families ease a bit of trauma for children on
one of the most traumat

ic days of their
lives. Our Bags are filled with age appropriate hygiene kits, pajamas, socks, underwear, books to read and color, stuffed animals, snacks (formula where needed), water, Arby's meal tickets and more! Help us give a bag for today, and hope for tomorrow! Take up the cause of the fatherless by helping a child today!

Thank you for making Bingo a success!

We are so grateful to everyone who came out, played, donated, served, and helped make our Bingo event such a wonderful night!

Because of your generosity, critical funds were raised to help support our program and continue meeting the needs of children and families in our community. Every card played, every prize given, every ticket purchased, and every hour volunteered helps move this mission forward.

A special thank you to the incredible volunteers who showed up, worked hard, welcomed guests, served with joy, and helped make the evening run smoothly. Events like this do not happen without people willing to give their time, energy, and hearts.

Your support helps us continue saying “yes” when children need clothing, shoes, hygiene items, comfort, connection, and care. It helps us show up in real and practical ways during some of the hardest moments in a child’s life.

Thank you for believing in this mission. Thank you for standing with us. Thank you for helping us serve children with dignity, compassion, and love.

Schools, want a fundraiser that’s fun, comfy, and actually works?
Say hello to Pajama Jam.

Kids wear pajamas.
Your school earns 10% of all funds raised.
Students score cool rewards.
Our community grows stronger.

It’s that simple.
Let’s bring Pajama Jam to your campus next year.

Because of incredible volunteers, our kids were loved and cared for while we dreamed about what’s next.

We are so grateful to the amazing volunteers who stepped in to spend time with our children while our team shared exciting updates about the growth and future of our program.

Your willingness to show up matters more than you know. While conversations were happening, vision was being shared, and next steps were being celebrated, you made sure children were seen, safe, engaged, and loved.

That is the heart of this mission.

At The Isaiah 1:17 Project, every role matters. Some serve by giving. Some serve by leading. Some serve by praying. And some serve by sitting with a child, offering kindness, patience, and joy in a moment when they need it most.

Thank you for being the hands and feet of this mission. Thank you for making space for important conversations while never losing sight of who this work is truly about: the kids.

Join us for a guided tour of the spaces where our Fortifying Fostering Families (F3) Program takes shape.

These rooms are where children receive immediate support, where caregivers find encouragement, and where families begin building stability during challenging transitions.

Whether you’re a donor, volunteer, partner, or simply someone who cares, this is your chance to see the impact up close. Walk through the places where care begins and discover how your involvement strengthens our mission every day.

We can’t wait to welcome you in.

Every so often, we receive a message that reminds us just how meaningful our DreamCycles Program truly is. Today, we wanted to share one of those moments with you.

A fostering mom reached out after a child in her care, whose name we’ve changed to Ella for safety reasons, received her very own bicycle through the program. She wrote:

“Ella loves her new bicycle and is so very proud to call it her own. Her knowledge of bicycle safety has built her confidence to practice be alert, don’t get hurt while riding. Thank you to all who were involved to bless these children and include Ella at this hard time in her life.”

Messages like this touch us deeply.
Ella’s pride, her growing confidence, and the joy of having something that belongs just to her is the heart of what we hope to create.

To Ella’s fostering mom: thank you for sharing this beautiful moment.
To Ella: we’re cheering you on with every pedal!
To our community: thank you for helping make moments like this possible. 💜

Choosing to give monthly does more than make a donation. It provides steady support for children and families facing some of their hardest moments. Your consistency helps us respond quickly, meet needs fully, and walk alongside families through their fostering journey.

Monthly donors make it possible for us to say “yes” when a child needs comfort, when a caregiver needs support, and when a family needs someone in their corner. Your ongoing commitment strengthens every part of our mission and helps children feel seen and valued.

Become a monthly giver at https://secure.qgiv.com/for/n8hjk4.

If giving financially isn’t possible right now, volunteering is another meaningful way to make an impact. To learn more about volunteering, call our office at 812‑386‑0117.

Your consistency brings hope. Your compassion makes a difference. Your support reminds children impacted by kinship and foster care that they are never alone.

Thank you, TWO MEN AND A TRUCK®!

We are so grateful for our wonderful partners at TWO MEN AND A TRUCK® for helping deliver bikes for our Dream Cycles event on June 6!

Your generosity, time, and willingness to serve helped make the day extra special for the fostering and kinship care families we support.

Because of partners like you, we can create moments of joy, encouragement, and hope in our communities.

Thank you for moving more than bikes. You helped move hope forward.

When DCS calls with an immediate need, our community answers.

Over the last few days, several urgent needs came in for children and teens in our area. A suitcase was needed for a boy traveling to live with family. A teen boy needed clothes, shoes, and other essentials. A girl needed a swimsuit. These may sound like simple items, but to a child in transition, they are so much more.

They are dignity.
They are comfort.
They are a reminder that someone sees them, cares about them, and is willing to step in at just the right moment.

Thank you to every person who responded, donated, shared, prayed, and helped make sure each child had what they needed quickly. Pictured is Ruth Wilson, one of the many incredible people dropping off donations and helping carry this mission forward.

This is what Isaiah 1:17 looks like in action: learning to do good, seeking justice, and defending the vulnerable—one child, one need, one “yes” at a time.

We are deeply grateful for a community that shows up.

SPONSOR A BACKPACK for Our Ready Set Backpack event on July 25 for children and families in foster and kinship care in our F3 Program.

Ready, Set, Backpack!
The Isaiah 1:17 Project is getting ready for our F3 Exclusive Back-to-School Bash, where we will help children in foster care start the school year feeling prepared, celebrated, and excited.
We are looking for sponsors to provide filled backpacks for the kids attending this event!

Here’s how it works:

When you sponsor a backpack, we will provide you with a child’s school supply list and a little about what the child likes- colors, characters, etc. You will shop for a backpack and fill it with the items needed for that child’s school year.
Sponsors may choose:

💜 Gender preference
💚 Age range: Elementary, Middle School, or High School
This is such a simple, practical way to show a child in foster care that they are seen, valued, and supported as they head into a new school year.

Ready to sponsor a backpack?

Comment below or send us a message, or email [email protected], and we’ll get you matched with a child’s supply list!

Thank you for helping us value every child and serve foster families.
