Flight Expo, Inc Mission

Flight Expo's mission is to promote aviation through education and preservation. Through all of this we seek to preserve aircraft.

Flight Expo promotes aviation education by hosting workshops, safety seminars, a Build-A-Plane Program, a flying club, and other events. We believe in breaking down barriers to create an innovative and self sustaining environment for all fields in aerospace and aviation. We strive to equip and educate today and tomorrow's generations with the tools needed to obtain their FAA Aircraft and Power Pla

nt Certification. We pride ourselves on developing a new generation of innovators by inspiring participants, especially students in aerospace technology, and engineering and construction through the aircraft restoration process. We preserve historic aircraft through restoration and museum displays. Our Wright Flyer replica can be seen at the Pine County Historical Society's museum. https://pinecountyhistoricalsociety.org/museum.html

We educate future generations about aviation and air racing, and its contributions, historical and practical.

✈️ Get ready for an incredible morning of aviation, food, and family fun!

The legendary T-6 Texan first took to the skies in 1935 and trained thousands of military pilots during World War II. Today, it remains one of the most iconic warbirds still flying.

Join us for the Airport Brunch on Sunday, June 7, and experience the thrill of a special flyover by the T-6 Thunder Group! Enjoy a great breakfast, explore the airport, and witness these historic aircraft in action.

You won't want to miss this unforgettable community event! 🇺🇸✈️🥞

‼ VOLUNTEERS NEEDED ‼

The Rum River Festival begins next Thursday, June 4, and Flight Expo is looking for additional volunteers to help make this exciting community event a success.
We still need help with parade participation, setup, flight line assistance, kids activities, greeting visitors, S2F tours, pancake breakfast support, and teardown.
Even a few hours of your time makes a huge difference for our students and programs.

This event is one of the largest opportunities each year to showcase aviation education, our aircraft, and the students involved in Flight Expo programs.
We invite you to come out, enjoy the pancake breakfast, explore the aircraft on display, and help us celebrate aviation in Princeton, MN.
Volunteers will receive a free Flight Expo t-shirt, and breakfast volunteers will receive a complimentary meal through an anonymous donation.
If you are able to help, please sign up today so we can finalize planning and volunteer assignments👇

Please review the available slots below and click on the button to sign up. Thank you!

We are incredibly proud to celebrate Charlie Ellingson! ✈️🇺🇸
Charlie recently graduated from the University of Minnesota with a degree in Aerospace Engineering and was commissioned into the United States Air Force the very next day.

From learning hands-on skills in our Build A Plane program to earning his pilot wings and beginning pilot training at Vance Air Force Base, Charlie’s journey is an inspiration to us all. Congratulations, Charlie — we can’t wait to see where your future takes you!

We are excited to share that Flight Expo is transitioning our giving link from Give to the Max to our own online store. This change allows more of each donation to go directly to our programs by reducing third-party fees and giving us greater flexibility in how gifts are used. It also helps us better connect your support to specific projects, aircraft, and student opportunities. Your generosity continues to be the foundation of everything we do, from hands-on education to aircraft preservation. Thank you for believing in our mission and for helping us build the future of aviation, one student at a time.
