Thank you to everyone in the Princeton Theological Seminary community who joined us for this year's Mujerista Symposium
This year’s lecture, “Sentipensar: Latin American Orientation to Care and Relations,” invited us to explore the deep connections between thinking and feeling as a way of understanding care, leadership, and community. We were honored to welcome our keynote speaker, Dr. Yara Gonzalez Justiniano, whose insights challenged and encouraged us to lead with holistic awareness. We also extend our gratitude to the Rev. Dr. Kenia Vanessa Mendoza, Esq., from Drew School of Theology, for her thoughtful and engaging response.
A highlight of the evening was our panel discussion led by our brilliant Latina students:
Claudia Marcela Alvarez, PhD Student
Adriana Soto Acevedo, MDiv/MACEF Dual, Senior
Pilar Gomez Cortez, MDiv Junior
Maria Clara Carvalho, MTS Senior
Gabriela Kunz, MTS Senior
Their reflections embodied the spirit of mujerista theology!
We also enjoyed a delicious Latin American dinner in an environment filled with great fellowship.
A special thank‑you to all who attended, supported, and uplifted our Latina theologians. To our friends from Drew School of Theology, thank you for joining us. Your presence helps sustain this vital space of protest, imagination, and community care. We look forward to continuing this tradition with you next year.
