The 101: Fund A local, community-based non-profit scholarship organization supporting need-based college scholarships for Princeton High School graduates

101: is a non-profit volunteer organization providing scholarships to Princeton High School graduates in need of tuition assistance beyond the reach of their family resources and financial aid packages. Founded by a school secretary in 1970, 101: has provided in excess of $1 million in aid to PHS seniors over the last four decades. Many of the awards are directed to students who will be the first

in their families to attend college.

101: scholarships are entirely need-based, and are aimed at reducing the gap between the skyrocketing cost of attending college and students’ resources from family savings and financial aid packages. Throughout the school year, 101: scholarship awards, given in June,are supported by a direct mail campaign and local events. Applications are available each spring through the PHS Guidance Office.

101: scholarships have made higher education dreams come true at colleges and universities across the country and close to home.

Calling all students! The 101: Fund is now accepting scholarship applications from current PHS seniors as well as returning students.

Deadline for returning students: April 5
Deadline for new applicants: May 4
