Current Needs for DV families:

-Need one used, working refrigerator for garage to use for household where we have placed one of our women

-Need washer and dryer for DV mom with 3 kids, also need 3 sets of twin sheets, pillows, and bedding. All 3 children are boys between the ages of 8 and 13.

**HCI can get a truck and pick up donated appliances and deliver them to the families.

-We are still looking for good used vehicles to be donated for 2 of our program participants. In the meantime, we can use donations for Uber and Lyft

Single mother to single mother —

You filed the paperwork with a baby on your hip. You worked the overtime while running on three hours of sleep. You held it together in front of your children and fell apart in the car where nobody could see.

You built something out of nothing while someone actively tried to make sure you had nothing to build with.

That is not just survival.

the kind that doesn't get celebrated at ceremonies or written about in history books.
The kind that happens in sweatpants at midnight when the kids are finally asleep

Things like this are happening, especially to kids aging out of foster care. Medical records are exaggerated or falsified for various reasons, one of which is so social services can get more money a month for a "disabled" kid who has aged out of foster care. Sometimes they feel "forced" to do this because there are no solutions to help these kids aging out of foster care unless they have a disability.
This is why Hope Connection International focuses on this group of victims. They need an organization who advocates for them and supports them when they have no one else. Help us help them. Support our cause today.

Support DV Hope Connection International my sister runs this nonprofit. We are working hard to build large safe houses. The government is not helping us. Millions of people are in DV situations.
Martha was our friend she was in my Small Group. People hide it very well until they can’t. It is hard for people to get out of these situations. We are trying to make a difference.
Please donate anything and everything. Everything goes to our victims you cannot imagine the amount of calls that are received daily.

Hope Connection International Volunteer Needed to oversee Green Chair Referrals. Green Chair provides furnishings for DV victims referred to us who are starting over. Please PM me, if interested, or email me at [email protected].
Responsibilities will involve a short training day, working with referred client with paperwork and filling out the online application, and doing a home visit. Once the client is referred, you can schedule all of this with them at your convenience. They choose the furniture package online, and it will be delivered to them. The volunteer would just be overseeing the administrative part of the referral partnership.
