We are proud to be a resource for children, families, librarians and educators. The Cotsen Children's Library is a very special library within the Department of Special Collections at Princeton University Library. Our international research collection of illustrated children's books, manuscripts, original artwork, prints, and educational toys from the 15th century to the present day is the benefac
tion of Lloyd E. The Cotsen Children's Library also has a public face, serving as a resource for children, families, librarians, and educators. We offer a variety of free programs and events for children, an author interview webcast, a teen writing resource, and a creative blog. Visitors can also explore Bookscape, our picturesque gallery with whimsical spaces to read, including a two-story bonsai tree. Like our programs, Bookscape is open to the public and free of charge. Please bring your family to relax and read! Interested in receiving announcements about our children's programs and special events?
