Congratulations to our friends at Joshua Zinder Architecture + Design on winning the American Institute of Architects - Central New Jersey’s 2026 Small Project award for Fowl Inequity! 🎉

Created as part of PCH’s The Birdhouse Project, Fowl Inequity features one oversized “McMansion” alongside thirteen stacked homes, offering a thought-provoking commentary on our built environment and the ways access to shelter can be a privilege rather than a right. Through its creative design, the birdhouse explores how the same lot can be used in distinctly different ways.

We’re proud to see this meaningful project recognized for its creativity and the important conversation it inspires!

Want to see Fowl Inequity in person? Visit its host and one of PCH's founding partners, The Jewish Center of Princeton!

Our Elm Court and Harriet Bryan House residents were THRILLED to welcome back the Manhattan-based Ivalas Quartet for a special concert this week! The quartet made its Princeton debut at Elm Court nearly two years ago, and shared with the audience that it was the enthusiasm and passion of our residents that brought them back.

The room quickly filled before the performance began, with many residents eager to see the quartet again after experiencing their electrifying 2024 performance. One resident invited her family to join her for the concert, while another arrived nearly an hour early and patiently waited for a front-row seat!

We are so grateful to our friends at Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) for organizing another wonderful performance and continuing to keep our residents in mind. Live music like this allows our residents to enjoy art together, welcome friends and family, and connect with neighbors inside and outside their immediate community.

About the musicians: Since 2017, Ivalas Quartet has been dedicated to spotlighting BIPOC composers and musicians as performers and educators, while introducing classical music to new audiences. The quartet has also nurtured young musicians at the beginning of their musical journeys and coached collegiate groups, including at The Juilliard School. Learn more about these tremendously talented musicians at ivalasquartet.com 💫🎻

Thank you to the many people who made We All Fit Together! a great success in support of Princeton Community Housing! 🧩🦙✨

Held on September 25 at Princeton Lavender, the celebration brought together supporters, community partners, families, neighbors, and friends for an evening of games, puzzles, trivia, music, and laughter, fueled by a delicious family-style dinner by Occasions By Cintron. Guests were even greeted by some four-legged residents of the farm, including alpacas and horses, while emcee and trivia master Righteous Jolly kept the fun going all evening.

We were especially grateful to hear from our resident speakers: mother-daughter duo Barbara and Louisa Ajami of Princeton Community Village, and Ashley Batts, a Griggs Farm resident and NAHMA/JAHMA scholarship recipient. They shared meaningful reflections on their experiences living in PCH communities and highlighted the dedication and dependability of the staff who help residents thrive, bringing to life what we proudly call the “PCH Difference.”

A huge thank you to our host and event committees (special shout-out to our event co-chairs, Chris Costa and Karen Delk!), and our generous donors and sponsors, including presenting sponsor Penn Medicine Princeton Health. Your support made this celebration possible!

Just as every puzzle piece contributes to the bigger picture, each person in our community has a role in building a Princeton where people can afford to live, grow, celebrate milestones, and age in place with dignity. We’re grateful to have you as an important piece of the PCH community!

Not quite sure what we mean by “Garden Party with Panache”? 🦙✨ Don’t worry, the alpacas have you covered! Scroll through for their suggestions!

Think relaxed elegance with a little outdoor practicality. At the farm, we recommend comfortable, cool clothing in breathable fabrics. Cotton and linen dresses, lightweight jackets, and crisp shirts are all great choices, and gentlemen, no ties necessary! Florals are always welcome in the garden, but colorful solids are a great option, too. 🌸🌿

Fall weather can be unpredictable, so dress for comfort and come prepared for the outdoors!

Most importantly, come ready to celebrate, connect, and have a little fun at We All Fit Together! on Friday, September 25, from 5:30 to 9:30 PM at Princeton Lavender Farm.

Tickets and ad spaces are sold out, but you can still support the event! Make a gift here:
