Happy summer!! On the heels of an epic 2026 Princeton Festival, your friendly neighborhood PSO staff is back at it, getting ready for for the coolest 2026-2027 line-up. Get a subscription for the full season NOW and lock in your seats for all the concerts, including Beethoven's Ninth (yes, THAT Beethoven's Ninth). Imagine yourself at Richardson Auditorium with a pristine view for your whole family for a season of orchestral delights!

It is always such a pleasure to have our friends Time For Three back at the Princeton Festival! We're not sure how it's possible but every time they come back, they have even more zip and energy than the time before...like energizer bunnies but with string instruments.

With Ranaan Meyer on bass & vocals, Nick Kendall on violin & vocals, and Charles Yang on violin & vocals, the audience felt the positivity emanating from stage almost instantly. Performing a set of covers and originals with their signature viruosity, Time For Three had the audience on their feet!

Our friends Morven Museum & Garden have an incredible exhibition up — be sure to check it out and enjoy the beautiful grounds! 🪻🌺

See the FIRST Declaration of Independence engraved in New Jersey. 📜

It’s in incredible condition, but due to its fragile nature, can be on view only through the end of July.

Beginning in the 1810s, as the Founding Fathers began to pass away, a demand developed for collecting their portraits and autographs. In 1818, an enterprising writing master (who could expertly copy handwriting) named Benjamin Owen Tyler partnered with engraver Peter Maverick to sell copies of the Declaration with signatures of the delegates, like this one, for seven dollars apiece.

A guarantee of authenticity is visible at the lower left signed by Richard Rush (a grandson of Richard Stockton, the signer who resided at Morven).

This year's Juneteenth celebration at the Princeton Festival culminated in the absolutely incredible 'Great Ladies of Jazz' performance with returning artists Capathia Jenkins and Lucas Waldin, joined this time by the fantastic Aisha De Haas. The audience was treated to beautiful renditions of tunes from the Great American Songbook by Jenkins, De Haas, and Waldin leading the Princeton Symphony Orchestra. Infusing their own virtuosity into familiar and well-loved tunes, the concert was an instant hit with the audience. The vibes were off the charts, as the kids say, and we all felt it.

It's time for another REVIEW of the 2026 Princeton Festival production of Giacomo Puccini's "Madama Butterfly"!! Thank you Chris Ruel and Operawire for your support.

Most importantly, another standing ovation to the cast and crew of this fantastic production for bringing a tale of love and betrayal to life in such a thoughful manner. As always, the biggest kudos to Brenna Markey, Toni Marie Palmertree, and Aubry Ballaró for being so nimble and stepping into situations no one could have predicted. You're all QUEENS!!
