Welcome to "Graycespaces”.
To put it simply, we are four young adults trying to make a movement in our local community. We have heard, felt, and dealt with the loneliness that comes with growing up in broken communities. For too long, the real issues young adults face have been ignored and bypassed. We’ve been expected to understand the changes in society and roll with them. Society has made the sound of a church something it should never have become.
Late last year, our team won a grant through a “hatchathon” program, and with that grant, we are creating a mobile living room with a coffee bar to create an environment of love, comfort, and openness. At these locations, we will have games, people from our ministry available to talk, and, of course, delicious hot or cold drinks you can enjoy while relaxing on one of our lovely couches or chairs.
With any money we have left with the grant or given from supporters, we want to offer a pay-it-forward chain where a limited number of people who get a free drink will be given 10 dollars to bless someone around them.
No matter where you are in life, we just want to offer a safe space for young adults to take their place again and be authentic. Whether you have had church hurt, are a believing Christian, or are not really sure about any of it, this is a place where you are welcome. All we ask is for you to show up, hang out, and be you.
