C Platoon took advantage of the beautiful morning weather to continue building their skills on pump operations and heavy water hookups. Utilizing the humat valve, pump operators maximize water flow to the fire scene from the hydrant.

This morning, Engine 66 (A Platoon) responded mutual aid into Princeton on the 60-10 box for what initially was an activated fire alarm. First due Ladder 60 arrived to a smoke condition and the assignment was upgraded. Crews found fire which was mostly extinguished. Engine 66 assisted with overhaul.

This afternoon, Engine 66 (B Platoon) responded to Main Campus for the 1st alarm fire. The fire was located in auditorium style floors in a lecture room. Crews performed overhaul, ventilation, and salvage.
