Welcome NJRPA Intern, Aliyah Velez! Aliyah is a Communications student at Rutgers University, where she is also pursuing a minor in Human Resources. She is passionate about communication, community engagement, and organizational development. Aliyah has experience working in education as a substitute teacher and has developed strong skills in communication, problem-solving, and relationship building. This summer, she is excited to join the New Jersey Recreation and Park Association as an intern and looks forward to supporting the organization’s mission while gaining hands-on experience in communications, member engagement, and nonprofit operations.
