Some of the saddest words I’ve ever heard in a church:

“Yes, we are Pentecostals, but with seatbelts.”

“And do not grieve the Holy Spirit of God, by whom you were sealed for the day of redemption.” Ephesians 4:30

“For whoever is ashamed of Me and My words in this adulterous and sinful generation, of him the Son of Man also will be ashamed when He comes in the glory of His Father with the holy angels”
Mark 8:38

These stories are amazing but when you know the couple- this is even more powerful. I love this family. They have suffered much but God has also blessed them much! Will I’m blessed to call you brother!

Translation- Yes, a lover of God who is deeply committed to a Christ-centered life CAN have a demon (and maybe even a legion of demons!!) even if your theology can’t handle it.
