Maps can tell the story of a revolution.

Join Richard Moody at the Discovery Center at Point Breeze for an exploration of New Jersey during the Revolutionary War. Using historic maps, Richard will discuss the people and places that shaped the fight for independence, including George Washington and Alexander Hamilton.

The program takes place in historic Bordentown, just minutes from the downtown statue of Thomas Paine, whose *Common Sense* helped inspire the American cause.

Richard brings a remarkable perspective to the program. A former Royal Navy officer and pilot, he served aboard the Royal Yacht Britannia and is the author of *Flying Through Life: From Fighter Pilot to Peace Activist*.

Meet D&R Greenway’s 2026 Summer Fellow, Anna DePinho, who built and installed new bluebird nest boxes at Point Breeze as her summer capstone project.

🏝️ What stories do the Delaware River Islands hold?

Join us this Sunday, July 19 at 2:00 p.m. at the Discovery Center at Point Breeze for The Hidden Life & Times of the River Islands, presented by journalist and writer Dan Aubrey.

The islands have witnessed centuries of history, from colonial landowners and Joseph Bonaparte's era to the people who made their lives along the Delaware. Through photographs, documents, and fascinating stories uncovered during years of research, Dan will bring these remarkable places to life—including accounts shared by a descendant of one of the islands' early owners and the last person known to have lived on one of the islands.

On Saturday, July 11 at 2:00 p.m., Barbara Bluejay Michalski, Lenape Chief of the Unalachtigo Clan, will present Good Land, Native Plants, Good Health at the Discovery Center at Point Breeze.

Learn how Indigenous peoples have traditionally used native plants for healing and wellness, and discover the remarkable plants that still grow throughout the Lenapehoking today.
