On Thursday February 26th, Truck 60 (A Platoon) responded into Plainsboro Township for a first alarm apartment fire. Truck 60 operated as the first due ladder company.

Great work by the crew of Plainsboro Squad 49 who effected the rescue of an unconscious victim.

FIRST ALARM APARTMENT FIRE

On 01/06/26, Rescue 60 (A Platoon) and callback members operated at the 20 block of Spring Street for a first alarm apartment fire.

Companies initially were alerted for an alarm activation and arrived to find a fire on the fourth floor. The fire is under investigation by local members within the PFD Bureau of Fire Safety.

Happy New Year from Local 72!

On the first incident of the new year, Rescue 60 (A Platoon) responded to the 900 block of Stuart Road for a dwelling fire. Rescue 60 located a working fire in the garage and struck the first alarm assignment.

Initial companies held the fire to the garage area, minimizing damage to the remainder of the home. The fire is under investigation by local members within the PFD Bureau of Fire Safety.

Early Sunday morning, Ladder 60 (C Platoon) and mutual aid companies handled an All Hands garage fire on Westerly Road.

Initially dispatched as an activated fire alarm, Ladder 60 arrived with fire showing and filled out the box. The fire was held to the garage area.

This incident serves as an important reminder to have properly functioning smoke alarms within your home.
