This post is long overdue!
We want to extend a huge thank you to Charleston Elks Lodge #202 for their dedication to our Major Project Camp for many years! For several years, 30+ campers from the Charleston area have made it to camp on a bus sponsored by the Charleston lodge. These gracious volunteers spend time and effort checking in campers, making sure they see the nurse, and get their belongings loaded on the bus flawlessly!
Thanks to the Dunbar Rec Center for accommodating us!

The West Virginia Elks Association held their mid-year convention this weekend. During one session, our State President Martin Kimball let us know of big plans he has for our Major Project. Our President of the Major Project’s board of directors, Richard Perry, spoke on our behalf regarding his experience and the business side of things. Our Camp Director, Taffy Robertson, gave an awesome presentation to let the West Virginia Elks see how awesome the West Virginia Elks Major Project Camp really is!
We are so grateful for what the Elks does for us and we hope to have more Elks at camp next year.

Congratulations Taylor!!

Her remarkable talent and dedication have earned her a spot to compete in Pittsburgh this September, where she'll have the opportunity to secure a place on Team USA.
