Community Mediation Center of Calvert County

Community Mediation Center of Calvert County CMCC provides mediation and conflict resolution services at no cost to Calvert County residents. Mediation is an opportunity to manage conflicts differently.

With the help of mediators, you can discuss issues and talk about your concerns. In mediation, you β€” not the mediator β€” control the decisions and the outcome. Mediation brings people together in a comfortable and safe setting to have difficult conversations. The mediators help you talk to each other to clarify goals, gather information, and identify options. It is up to you to decide what will mee

t your needs as you manage the conflict. What is discussed with the mediators is kept private and confidential. Try mediation before holding a grudge, destroying a relationship, calling the police or going to court. Mediation can help with:

- Neighbor-to neighbor conflicts
- Family member disputes
- Consumer/merchant disputes
- Employee/employer conflicts
- Roommate/housemate issues
- Friendships in trouble
- Parent/teen disputes
- Contract disputes
- Peace Orders
- Landlord/tenant issues
- Custody/parenting
- Divorce

The Community Mediation Center of Calvert is a United Way Community Partner.

Through mediation and restorative practices, individuals, families, schools, and community members can come together to be heard, understood, and supported.
