Last night we awarded the 1st Annual Tyler Ann Cooper Memorial Scholarship at Newport High School's Senior Scholarship & Awards Night to a very deserving young woman, Megan Lindor.

Tyler's sister Lorelei Cooper and Tyler's bird Bob were able to congratulate Megan personally. Jim Sampson, President of the foundation, and Lorelei spoke about Tyler and presented the award on stage.

Megan is planning to attend college in the fall to study for her Nursing Degree. We are so happy for her and can't wait to see her succeed!

Thank you to all of our donors who made this award possible, we literally could not have done this without your generosity in helping us keep Tyler's memory alive.

Tyler Ann Cooper Memorial Foundation Scholarship – Now Open!

The Tyler Ann Cooper Memorial Foundation is proud to offer a $2,000 scholarship for the 2026–2027 academic year.

This scholarship is for a full-time female student majoring in a scientific field who resides within the West Bonner County School District (Idaho) or the Newport School District (Washington).

Application Deadline: April 1, 2026

The Tyler Ann Cooper Memorial Foundation was created to continue the love she brought into the world, supporting local students, families, and causes that reflect her spirit.
