Hi, Utah Families!
From the day new parents bring their baby home from the hospital, they have questions. Sparkler is a mobile app, provided for FREE by Help Me Grow Utah to families with children 6 and under and to families expecting new babies. It’s available for iOS and Android in English, Spanish, and Chinese.

Families get:

✨Developmental screening (ASQ-3 and ASQ:SE-2) to check in on their child’s development.

✨A library of 2,000 playful activities created by early childhood educators to help parents and children play off screen to promote learning.

✨Connection with professionals — Parents can tap into answers and a network of support from local programs and care coordinators at Support for Families.

Participants can capture and share photos that answer the question: “My Utah is ____.” Whether it’s majestic mountain ranges, vibrant red rocks or powdery ski slopes, this contest celebrates Utah’s local photographers, natural beauty and unique culture.

Bank of Utah will announce winners on July 13, 2026, and spotlight select photos in the bank’s “Feature Fridays” series on Instagram. All winners, honorable mentions and the Best in Show recipient will receive complimentary copies of Bank of Utah’s Annual Photo Contest calendar to share with friends and family.

“The My Utah Photo Contest is one of our favorite traditions,” said Branden Hansen, President of Bank of Utah. “We’re amazed by the creativity and talent of entrants. It’s inspiring to see how the contest has helped photographers gain recognition and take the next step in their careers.”
