What better way to celebrate summer than with a scoop (or two) of your favorite ice cream? National Ice Cream Day is the perfect opportunity to enjoy a cool treat while making sweet memories with family and friends.

Did you know? Dairy products like ice cream start with the hard work and dedication of dairy farmers who help provide nutritious foods for our communities. Through 4-H, youth can learn about agriculture, animal science, food production, and the many careers that help bring food from farm to table.

Our 4-H Entrepreneurs Club has been hard at work creating, designing, and preparing products to share with the community. Through this club, members are learning valuable skills in entrepreneurship, planning, marketing, customer service, and money management—all while having fun!

🛍️ Be on the watch for them at the farmers market this season selling their handmade items! Stop by, say hello, and support these young entrepreneurs as they put their hard work and new skills into action.

🐄 Happy National Cow Appreciation Day!

Today is a great time to recognize the important role cattle play in agriculture and celebrate the youth who work hard to care for them. Through 4-H livestock projects, members learn responsibility, animal care, record keeping, leadership, and valuable life skills that last far beyond the show ring.

Whether you're raising beef cattle, learning about animal science, or simply appreciating the impact of agriculture, National Cow Appreciation Day is a reminder of the dedication of our 4-H members and local producers.

Thank you to the youth, volunteers, and families who help make livestock programs a success. We appreciate all you do!
