🚒 Join Our Firefighting Family! 🚒

We are looking for dedicated, community-minded individuals to join our volunteer fire department! Whether you’re looking to make a difference, develop new skills, or serve your neighbors in a time of need, volunteering as a firefighter can be one of the most rewarding experiences.

No prior experience is needed—just a willingness to learn and a desire to help others. Training and support will be provided every step of the way!

Are you between the ages of 15-17 and looking for an exciting way to make an impact in your community? The Junior Firefighter Program is now accepting new recruits as well, and we want YOU to be part of it!

🎃INFO ABOUT OUR HAYRIDE🎃

👻Our Hayride will be held at the golf course across from Jenny Wiley Boat Dock in Prestonsburg, KY.

👻Tickets are $10/person. Small children who ride in an adults lap ride for free!

👻Parking is free!

👻Ticket sales begin at dark.

👻We will have concession stands with hot chocolate, sodas, walking tacos, funnel cakes and more!

👻All of our staff and participants in the hayride are VOLUNTEERS and we ask you treat them with respect.

👻This is a charity hayride! Proceeds raised from our haunt are used to give back to Auxier and the immediate surrounding community for Operation North Pole. Operation North Pole is our Christmas give back where AVFD gives fruit bags and toys to all of Auxier, Highlands ARH and others in the community.
