Dear Friends, just wanted to share word that you are invited to show your support for our immigrant neighbors this Saturday 7/25/26 Noon to 1:00 in Prestonsburg at the corner of Lake Drive & Court Streets at Rosenberg Square. Please come out and bring family and friends. Here is more info from Mary Lou White who is pulling it together:

"Dear friends, if you follow any news at all, you know that ICE is stepping up its forceful detainment of immigrants. Under any circumstances, every person in this country has a right to due process. I won't go on any kind of rant about how cruel this approach to immigration is, but I do want to act in concert with action in Lexington as people of different churches and faiths gather to express solidarity with their immigrant neighbors. This Saturday at 12 noon at the intersection in front of Rosenberg Square, you are invited to stand in silence for one hour, sending prayers or any kind of loving thoughts for those who are in our community and living in fear that they might be the next ones to be rounded up and sent away. Please make a sign to hold up and join us!"
