Minnesota is known for its water - we love bragging about our 10,000+ lakes! 😀 But we cannot forget that water is a precious resource. These are some great reminders from the Minnesota DNR in honor of World Water Day.

Happy World Water Day, Minnesota. 💧💙🌊

You live in one of the most water-rich states in the country. Over 10,000 lakes. Pristine rivers. Waterfalls that stop you mid-scroll. That doesn't happen by accident — it happens because people show up for it.

Today, March 22, we're asking you to do three things:

🌊Clean your watercraft before you move between our waters. Every time.
🌊See something unfamiliar in the water? Report it.
🌊Keep yard chemicals and runoff away from storm drains.

The water is worth it. So is the work.

Clean water should be accessible to everyone. 💙

Join us for the Root River Rod Co. River Clean-Up on Sunday, August 10th, from 9 AM to 2! Let’s give back to the beautiful Root River by coming together to pick up trash and protect the waters we love to fish.

All volunteers are welcome—bring your friends, family, and a fly rod! Supplies will be provided, and we’ll wrap up with refreshments and good vibes at the shop.
