Last weekend we had our annual PFD Summer Picnic. It’s a great time for both the active and retired firemen’s families to connect, share a meal and enjoy the start of summer.

As part of the tradition, we make flower bouquets to place at each deceased fireman’s grave marker. Thank you Preston Floral and Gift for donating some flowers!

We honor and celebrate one of our very best. After 23 years of dedicated service, Chad " Finny" Finseth is retiring from the department.

For more than two decades, Chad has been the definition of professionalism, hard work, and unwavering dedication. Whether it was answering the call in the middle of the night, mentoring newer members, or simply showing up with a positive attitude, he gave his all to this community.

But beyond the fire hall, Finny is someone who truly connected with people. He built lasting friendships within the department and was a familiar and welcomed face at community events—always ready with a smile, a story, or a helping hand. It’s no surprise he became a fan favorite and someone so many looked forward to seeing.

Thank you, Chad, for your years of service, your commitment, and your heart. You’ve made a difference in countless lives, and our community is stronger because of you.

Wishing you all the best in retirement—you’ve certainly earned it. We'll look forward to seeing you in a black shirt! 🚒👏

Yesterday we had the opportunity to visit the kids Fillmore Central School District, Minnesota daycare. We love how excited the kids are to see us! Thanks for having us!

Today, we honor the brave men and women who gave their lives in service to our country. Their sacrifice is the foundation of the freedoms we enjoy every day, and we remember them with deep gratitude and respect.

We had the honor of escorting our veterans today as part of the ceremony.
