Thank you to those that attended the recent Annual Meeting of the GLA. A summer of great events, completed projects, and community sponsored activities were reviewed. An election was held to fill five Board seats that were expiring or vacated. Selected to fill those seats were incumbents Mike Bugenske and Beth Greene, as well as newcomers Laurie Spencer, Mark Hansen and Dorothy Buszka. Special thanks to our outgoing Board members, Meghan Duly, Jeff Duly and Janet Straley, for their years of service to the GLA. The GLA Board is looking forward to continuing the tradition of making life at the lake a GRAND one!

Mother Nature tried her darndest to put a damper on the Annual GLA Membership Picnic, but, thanks to the availability of the community room at the PIHA Clubhouse, we were able to hold our event. Over 70 members enjoyed pizza, wings, and socializing while thanking our volunteers who work our summer events. Thank you to a great bunch of people who truly try to make life at the Lake a treasure for all!
