We are happy to reveal and announce one of our PISC Directors and local snowmobile enthusiast Ron Constant was selected as 2026 MSA Snowmobiler of the Year.

Ron's silently become a force for our trail system, from signing and stakes to landowners permissions and recently helped add nearly 19 miles of new trails in our system ( the first major trail growth in about 2 decades)- Ron has organized a team of volunteers and helped see it through. Well deserved recognition to someone that prefers to just be out in the bushes getting things done. Silently....thanks for all you do for snowmobiling in Presque Isle.

This honor reflects years of unwavering dedication to the trails and the snowmobiling community. Ron’s work within the Presque Isle SC has helped shape and strengthen the entire trail systemβ€”from countless hours of clearing and maintenance, to installing hundreds of signs, to playing a key role in expanding their trail system for the first time in decades.

Ron’s commitment, consistency, and pride in his work have left a lasting mark not only on his club, but on the experience of every rider who travels through the region.

Ron represents the very best of what snowmobiling in Maine stands for: hard work, stewardship, and a genuine passion for the outdoors.

Please join us in congratulating Ron on this well-earned accomplishment, and in thanking him for the incredible impact he continues to make.

PISC has discontinued grooming operations for this season.

At present there is a reasonable base to ride and our signs remain in place. The weather on 3/16, 3/17 is forecast mid 40s and that likely will melt most of our trails to dirt. A few days later it's chances of a few inches here and there, likely colder than normal temps but at this point no real big snow coming next 5 days.

There is still riding to be done, recommend Sunday March 15 - several of us have been around our trails today and they are flat and passable.

Spring Conditions: Ride with caution and enjoy before you put them away until next season.

PISC appreciates those that joined our club this season and also a shout out to our supporting businesses.

Final last thank you to PISC volunteers, Directors, Officers and the club's groomer teams for working tirelessly to make our area trails grow, improve and become the system we all enjoy. Looking forward to next season already!
