We’re bringing our community together for something BIG! On November 21st, we’re attempting to make history with 2,000 vehicles in just 4 hours!

And we need YOU to make it happen!
This isn't just about setting a world record. It's about DRIVING CHANGE, TOGETHER!
Imagine what we could accomplish if 2,000 vehicles drove through our Red Kettles and each gave just $40. That's $80,000 — enough to surpass our entire $75,000 Red Kettle goal in ONE DAY!

🎉 Celebrating 25 Years of Compassion & Community! 🎉

We’re excited to have our very own Marti representing The Salvation Army Prescott Corps at CCJ’s Totally Rad 25th Birthday Block Party today! 🤘🏼🩷✨

We are incredibly grateful for our partnership with the Coalition for Compassion and Justice (CCJ) and the work they have done over the past 25 years to bring hope, dignity, and second chances to our neighbors in need.

At The Salvation Army, we know that serving our community takes all of us! Partnerships like this remind us that when organizations come together with a shared heart for people, we can make an even greater impact.

Jesus didn’t ghost us. He gave us the Holy Ghost.

That was one of the truths we sat with today as we started HAUNTED.

From the opening pages of Genesis, through the Old Testament, through Jesus, through the early Church, and all the way to us—the Holy Spirit hasn’t been a side character who suddenly showed up in Acts.

He’s been here the whole time.

And Jesus knew we couldn’t live the life He was calling us to live on our own.

So He gave us a Helper.

Maybe spiritual maturity isn’t becoming less dependent on the Holy Spirit.

Maybe it’s becoming more aware of how dependent we’ve always been.

So this week, when you hit the thing you can’t fix, carry, change, forgive, or figure out on your own:

Helper, help me.

What if being “haunted” isn’t something to fear?

When we hear that word, we think ghosts, darkness, and things that go bump in the night.

But Jesus spoke about another kind of unseen presence.

A Helper.
An Advocate.
A Spirit who would dwell within us.

This Sunday, we begin HAUNTED, a new sermon series exploring the spiritual realities we often overlook—and why the life Jesus promised might be far more “haunted” than we realize.

And no… this isn’t a Halloween sermon series. 👻

It’s about learning to recognize what—or Who—has been there all along.

Our own Lt. Emily Reed recently sat down for an episode of the She Spark Podcast: “Called to Serve: Leadership, Compassion & Community.”

She had the opportunity to share about her journey to becoming a Salvation Army Officer, what ministry and service look like here in Prescott, the needs we see in our community, and what it meant to receive the 2026 Rosie the Riveter Award. 🌹

But more than anything, this conversation is a chance to share the heart behind what we do every day: loving God, loving people, and showing up for our community. ❤️🛡️

As we approach the one-year anniversary of the 2025 flooding in Globe, AZ, the harrowing survival story of U.S. Marine Corps veteran David Hayes Sr, whose RV was swept away with him in it, has now become an inspirational example of how your kindness allows The Salvation Army to help people recover no matter how dark the days. Thank you!❤️

We are so grateful for community partner FOX 10 Phoenix for shining their spotlight on the stories of redemption occurring in the wake of such devastation.

🇺🇸 Serving those who served… with resources AND donuts. 🍩❤️

We’re out at the U.S. VETS Stand Down today connecting with local veterans, sharing information about the resources and support available through The Salvation Army, building relationships, and—perhaps most importantly—handing out donuts. 😂🍩

We’re grateful for opportunities to get outside the walls of our building and meet people right where they are. Our veterans have served our communities and our country, and it’s a privilege to spend today serving them. ❤️🛡️
