Friday June 5th, club members met for a social and workshop potluck to make Moravian Stars to sell as a fundraiser. The house was filled with laughter and conversation. As we worked on the stars it turned to concentration and determination as we manipulated thin strips of paper into something beautiful.
What fun it was!! And we have a great club!!

On a beautiful sunny, Saturday, May 16th, our Rotary Club of Prescott, Frontier Rotary and SunUp Rotary clubs did our annual cleaning of the Yavapai County Courthouse statues that we sponsor. Our club is responsible for the Fallen Officer Statue near the gazebo. Our statue honors the Yavapai law enforcement officers who died in the line of duty.
Our members cleaned and painted the metal railing and applied wax to the statue and then buffed it. A small ceremony was held with the playing of America, The Beautiful at the statue facing Montezuma Street.

What a great meeting!! We had Stuart Rosebrook, Executive Director of Sharlot Hall Museum as our speaker guest and shared wonderful insights into the history of western cinema of Arizona.

Rotary District 5495 designated April 18-25 as the District 5495 Rotary Week of Service.
Our Rotary Club of Prescott participated by holding a Clean-up at the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (IOOF) cemetery on April 18th. We raked, picked up trash, weeded plots and pruned between the plots. ANZAC cookies were available as a reward for the volunteers. We focused on a section of the cemetery and plan to return!

Today was a very interesting and a fruitful day spent at the VA Domiciliary. Lot learnt and there is a lot we can do to help! The hand painted stones…say it all. 🙏🤗❤️. Thankful for the service of our veterans.
