We are now one step closer to ensuring all 5,800 acres of this stunning working ranch stay exactly the way they should be: wide open, wild, and working. That means more open space, protected wildlife habitat, and a 100+ year ranching legacy secured from future development.

Huge thanks to Mike Pierce and Pam Powers for their commitment to conserve the Bar Triangle ranchland ensuring the retention of agriculture, scenic western open space, and the protection of significant natural resources for future generations.

Seeing so many of you connect over a shared love for our region’s unique landscapes was truly inspiring. We are incredibly grateful to the Natural History Institute for hosting this beautiful event, and to everyone who stopped by the Central Arizona Land Trust booth to swap stories, share photos, and talk about what land preservation means to you.

Safeguarding the heritage and natural beauty of Central Arizona is a collaborative effort, and our work is only possible because of your dedication.

We are excited to be a part of this year’s Mogollon Highlands Festival! Hosted by the Natural History Institute from July 9th–12th, this event is a wonderful celebration of one unique ecological landscape we work to protect.

Attendees can participate in guided field excursions, nature talks, and art workshops designed to deepen our connection to local conservation. Register at naturalhistoryinstitute.org.

To conclude the weekend, we look forward to gathering with friends and neighbors at the Fairweather Social Club on Sunday afternoon from 12:00-3:00 for a free community celebration.
