Memorial Day 2026 at The NorthWest Valley Veterans Association Event/Sun City where we presented our Nightingale Tribute to the “Fallen Nurse” to a great contingency of patriotic Americans.
Assigned as reader was our own retired Lt.Colonel & RN, Deborah. It was appropriate because of her military career saving soldiers.
This year, we presented honoring a family member of a deceased nurse in the audience to give the Nightingale Lamp. We honored Ann S. RN along with the many fallen nurses.
And the white rose was given to a living veteran nurse, Ruth, RN.
This added dimension to our Tribute made it very heartfelt!
We thank deeply our volunteers Cindy, Nancy, Sue, Deborah, Ingrid, and Cheryl for giving their best to honor those who preserved our freedom by giving the ultimate sacrifice 🇺🇸
