When communities show up like this, Veterans don’t have to face life’s challenges alone. Today, we were proud to be part of that community at the Yavapai County Veteran Stand Down, hosted by U.S.VETS- Prescott.

Without events like this, connecting with multiple providers can mean separate appointments, separate offices, and added barriers to support. At Stand Downs, Veterans can access housing, healthcare, employment, benefits, and other essential resources in one place.

“Never Forget” isn’t a slogan. It’s a promise to remember and honor the 2,977 lives lost, and to listen to and support the survivors and families who continue to carry the weight of that day.

We encourage you to visit the Healing Field in Prescott Valley, open through September 18th. Walk among the flags, read their names and stories, and honor the lives behind each one.

The resources Veterans need should never feel out of reach.

Too many Veteran families in Prescott are struggling to put food on the table. We’re working to change that, and we’re grateful to have a community standing with us.

A heartfelt thank you to the Prescott Community Cupboard Food Bank for generously helping us refill our food pantry. Your support allows us to provide a warm meal and a little peace of mind to Veterans and their families who are facing difficult times.

Many Veteran families in Prescott, Arizona are struggling to put food on the table, and we need your help to fill our food pantry.

We're currently seeking donations of nonperishable food items such as:

• Boxed and canned foods
• Pasta and rice
• Cereal and oatmeal
• Granola bars and snacks
• Bottled water
• Pet food
• Other shelf-stable essentials
