By helping people get connected with helpful services and showing them the love and compassion to help them see that their situation is NOT the end of the story, only the new beginning! Our desire is to provide a place to gather to network, a community bulletin board where friends and visitors will find discussions, current events, happenings, volunteer opportunities, needs, advocacy opportunities and awareness information to effect real change. There is power in working together to change lives and strengthen local communities in new and unprecedented ways. Love is the evidence!

Community service providers, advocates, churches, civic groups, government agencies, and business partners raise awareness, offer support, and provide change-driven solutions to help our friends and neighbors in the Greater Prescott Area face life's challenges and have fun too!!

🇺🇸 Honoring the Flag. Celebrating the Service.

On June 14th, we recognize two enduring symbols of American strength and sacrifice - the Stars and Stripes for Flag Day and the United States Army's Birthday.

The Army has stood ready to defend freedom, while our flag has remained a powerful reminder of the values that unite us.
Today, we honor those who have worn the uniform, those who continue to serve, and the nation they swore to protect.

On June 30, 2013, 19 members of the Granite Mountain Interagency Hotshot Crew made the ultimate sacrifice while battling the Yarnell Hill Fire.

Each year, the Prescott community pauses in remembrance to honor the Brave 19 and reflect on the courage, service, and sacrifice they embodied.

Residents and visitors are invited to take part in commemorative moments of reflection on June 29 and June 30, including a tribute ceremony at the Granite Mountain Interagency Hotshot Crew Learning and Tribute Center and the ringing of the Yavapai County Courthouse bells 19 times.

The Granite Mountain Hotshots Memorial, located on the east side of the Yavapai County Courthouse Plaza, stands year-round as a tribute to the 19 firefighters.

🇺🇸 To the brave men and women who stood up for freedom and fought for our nation, to those who gave their lives. Thank you. To the parents, siblings, children, spouses, family, and friends who leave an empty space and bear the void with pride: no gift could repay your sacrifice, and no words could contain our gratitude, but it deserves to be said. We remember you and honor you as we salute those who never returned, paying the ultimate price.

May we pause and reflect on the true meaning of Memorial Day. 🌺
