Prescott Storm

Prescott Storm The Prescott Storm travel hockey program is designed for players who want to make a serious commitment to the game of inline hockey.

Prescott Storm travel teams will play games both in Prescott and outside of Prescott. The number of games played at each level will vary. There will be separate travel team practices at each level. The number of practices will vary but PYHA will strive to dedicate as much rink time as possible to the development of the travel teams. During the course of a season, you can expect to have at least 1-

2 practices per week and the opportunity to go with your team to tournaments both locally and out-of-town. Depending on the number of teams registered, you can expect to play in 3, 4 or more games per tournament. Games will typically be on a Saturday or a Sunday but in some cases may be on a Friday evening.

Let's level the (roller hockey) playing field!

During the "off season" between State Finals and the start of a new season, our players tend to just "check out" of roller hockey a bit and then try to jump back in half a year or so later. With no skill development and reinforcement between seasons, our players tend to lose much of the progress they made the season prior. It's time for that to change.

Arizona is home to some of the top players and coaches in the sport, it's high time there was an outlet for them to share that knowledge and experience with our young IHAAZ players. Together with a group of these players and coaches, we have formed Arizona Roller Hockey Clinics (AZRHC), an instructor owned and operated group who will be holding once a month clinic sessions in Peoria, AZ in the pre-season, as well as making themselves available to come work directly with your programs during the IHAAZ season if so desired.

AZRHC will be holding their first session next month (October 16th).

Clinic highlights include:

4 hours of on and off rink instruction with top professional players and coaches from here in Arizona.

Curriculum focused around strengthening and expanding core skills and fundamentals, as well as game structure and strategy, and understanding of the rules, penalties, etcetera of roller hockey.
All clinic attendees will receive a jersey courtesy of the Arizona Coyotes

Special prizes are awarded to those who work the hardest and show the most growth from sponsors like the Coyotes, Konixx, Helo, Wheel, and others.

Cost - $100 per player or goalie

Camp spots are limited to the first 36 skaters and 6 goalies to sign up.

Attendees must have at least one season of travel or two seasons of rec/in-house experience to attend.
