Arizona Cowboy Poets Gathering Night Show Descriptions
Thursday, August 6, 7 PM
Enjoy the opening show featuring Mike Dunn, southern Arizona cowboy poet with roots to early Arizona; Miska Paget, cowboy poet and local large animal veterinarian; Rusty Pistols Reloaded, a local and very enjoyable cowboy band playing your favorites; Susie Knight, Colorado cowboy poet; Jay Snider, cowboy poet and Oklahoma State Poet Laureate; plus headliner and audience favorite Trinity Seely, musician, cowboy, wife, mother, and horsemanship program director at Thacher School in Ojai, California.

Lots of cowboy music plus headliners Floyd and Valerie Beard, husband-and-wife cowboy poetry duo who bring ranching, cowboy life, humor and more to our audience. Also featuring Sarah Pierce, cowboy musician from Liberty Hill, Texas; Clancy Ballard, young cowboy, rancher and musician; Darrell Holden, cowboy, rancher and poet; Doug Figgs from New Mexico, one of our favorites; and the Arizona Wildflowers, a sibling band of five extremely talented musicians. A great show for everyone!

Host and poet Tom Swearingen from Oregon will entertain you, along with three of our 4th Grade Student Poets, Randy Huston from New Mexico, the very popular Lindy Simmons, Colorado cowboy poet, rancher and author of this year's poster poem, Bud Isaacs from the Mogollon Rim, and closing headliner Kristyn Harris, one of the most popular cowboy music entertainers today. Foot-stomping energy from the IWMA six-time Entertainer of the Year!
