Finished the week off with a big lunch from Culvers, Encanto Grill and Plaza Bonita. Thank you for supporting our teachers/ staff. Mrs. Grant also finished the week of treating the staff with a full icecream bar.♥️♥️

Our school year is coming to an end, what a crazy year it has been. Due to Azmerit testing we postponed teacher appreciation week to this week. Please show your teachers/staff some love this week. We start off with lunch supplied by Olive Garden, thank you for your donation.

Thursday- Candy Cane Day Wear red and white clothing.
Friday- Family Flannel Photo Wear your favorite flannel clothing.

📣📣📣Here is our BIG announcement...Mountain View Elementary School & Lake Valley Elementary School will be offering Breakfast in The Classroom (BIC) beginning October 19th! According to Food Research & Action Center, BIC has been proven to increase ⬆standardized test scores ⬆concentration ⬆alertness ⬆comprehension ⬆memory ⬆learning ⬆cognitive function AND decrease ⬇tardiness ⬇behavioral issues ⬇absenteeism & ⬇stigma.
💲 AND ALL SCHOOL MEALS ARE FREE THROUGH DECEMBER 31st. WOO HOO! 🥳👍😋

Our Food and Nutrition Department wants to support you with meals for your children. Our buses will drive their routes from 3-4pm Monday-Friday with the following days meals. All you have to do is report to your child's bus stop and have their student ID number with you.
We also serve grab and go meals at the school Monday-Friday from 11:30-1:00. You need your child's student ID number for this as well.

This upcoming bond and override election is vital to many programs in the Humboldt Unified School District. A yes vote for the bond and override has far reaching implications for our JTED/CTE programs, fine arts programs, social emotional support programs and much more. In order to help our voters better understand the impact of this election each week we will share information about a specific portion of this bond or override and how it will impact student learning here in Humboldt. To kick this off our first week will be fine arts week!!! We will share stories, give data and details about fine arts here in Humboldt and help you all better understand what a yes vote for this bond means to our fine arts students, staff and this community at large. The bond does give money to our Bradshaw Mountain High School campus to build a Performing Art Center. Bradshaw is one of few high schools in Yavapai County and across the state to not have their own performing arts center, a yes vote here changes this for our high school performing arts students in band, concert band, orchestra, drama and choir so we are declaring this week Fine Art Education Week for Humboldt!!!
