Meet Lt. William “Bill” Arsenault | Treasurer, Granite Mountain Company
For Lt. Bill Arsenault, service didn’t end with retirement.
A United States Marine Corps veteran whose service included nuclear weapons security, Bill spent his professional career as a senior executive in the medical device industry. After retiring, he found himself looking for another way to serve.
“I wanted to give back to the community and country that has given me so much.”
Four years ago, that desire led him to the Arizona Rangers.
Today, Bill serves as Treasurer of Granite Mountain Company and is also one of GMC’s mounted Rangers — something he considers one of his proudest accomplishments.
🐴 One of his favorite Ranger memories was representing the Arizona Rangers on horseback alongside Sgt. Mickey Kissell at the Prescott Frontier Days Rodeo Law Enforcement Recognition Night.
Bill especially enjoys assignments with the Yavapai-Prescott Tribal Police Department and says being part of Granite Mountain Company means helping continue a reputation built on professionalism and excellence.
And the uniform is only part of his story.
Bill comes from a Marine Corps family — his father, mother and older brother were all Marines. He owns three horses, spends as much time trail riding as he can, and volunteers with Horses with Heart in Chino Valley.
He also recently earned his NRA Range Safety Officer accreditation — and apparently retirement hasn’t slowed down his curiosity, either. Bill recently took a welding class and is currently studying auto body at Yavapai College.
His philosophy?
“You never know what your limits in life are until you exceed them.”
