⚡ Weekly Fire Safety Recap: Charge Into Fire Safety! 🔥

This week, we’ve shared a few simple battery safety reminders. Here’s a quick recap of what we shared and a few more:

🔌 Use the right charger — stick with the charger that came with your device or one approved by the manufacturer.
🪑 Charge on a hard surface — avoid beds, couches and other soft surfaces that can trap heat.
🌡️ Feels hot? Stop using it. Unusual heat, swelling, leaking or strange smells can be warning signs.
🔋 Fully charged? Unplug it.
🛴 Tools and rides? Charge outside when possible, and never block exits while charging.
✈️ Traveling? Keep devices where you can see them and never charge e-cigarettes or vapes on a plane.

Small actions can make a big impact. Make safe charging a habit! ⚡🚒
