❤️We are so excited to announce that SPARK is starting this January!

We have been working on this program for months, and we can’t wait to finally bring it to our community!

SPARK is a program created for adults with disabilities to have a place to make friends, be social, and simply have FUN! Each month will bring different activities, food, games, crafts, and opportunities to spend time with friends and make new memories.

We are incredibly excited to have the opportunity to use the Boys & Girls Club for SPARK and to work with the Town of Prescott Valley to bring this program to our community. The support, encouragement, and excitement we have received while putting SPARK together has been amazing. It truly takes a community to make something like this possible, and we are so grateful for everyone who has helped support our vision.

💙 We are currently looking for sponsors to help support SPARK and make these special events possible. Sponsorships will help provide activities, meals, supplies, and memorable experiences for our participants. If you or your business would like to help, please send us a message!

More information about SPARK will be available next month on the Town of Prescott Valley website under Events.

We can’t wait to open the doors in January and see the friendships, smiles, and memories that come from SPARK!

This is just the beginning, and we can’t wait to see where SPARK takes us! 🥳❤️❤️

It’s good for the soul to give, to help others, and to simply be kind. ❤️

Making a difference doesn’t always have to be something big. Sometimes it’s making someone smile, opening a door, lending a helping hand, or reminding someone that they matter.

Go out today and make a difference in someone’s life. A little kindness can go a long way. ❤️

Here are two upcoming events for families with children with disabilities! 💙

These are great opportunities to get out, have some fun, connect with other families, and enjoy time together. Please feel free to share with anyone who may be interested!

I know, I know… 🎄❤️ It may only be September, but our little elves are already hard at work getting ready for Christmas!

Every Christmas, the Firefighter Angel Foundation gives out more than 100 blankets to local children and families. We’ve been carrying on this tradition for almost 20 years!

We provide toys, clothes, books, and more, but there’s something extra special about seeing a child excited to receive their very own soft, cozy blanket.

Yes, you can absolutely purchase blankets from other stores! We just really love the ones from Costco because they are super soft, great quality, and a great price. The kids absolutely love them!

No matter where your blanket comes from, every donation helps us bring a little extra warmth and joy to a child this Christmas.

If you would like to donate, please send us a PM!

We are so grateful for the opportunity to work alongside Arizona Serve! ❤️

At the Firefighter Angel Foundation, we believe amazing things happen when organizations come together with a shared goal of giving back and making a difference. Working with Arizona Serve has been a wonderful experience, and we truly appreciate their support, hard work, and commitment to our community.

Thank you, Arizona Serve, for thinking of our foundation and for being such a great community partner. Together, we can make an even bigger impact!

After years of serving the community, Captain Burch is officially RETIRED! We couldn’t be happier for him and his family. ❤️

Captain Burch, you and your family have always been there for the Firefighter Angel Foundation fundraisers, events, and Christmas deliveries

And of course, we can’t talk about Captain Burch without mentioning his true claim to fame… letting kids draw all over his face with a Sharpie during our Christmas deliveries! 😂🤣 Most people would hand a kid a washable marker… not Burch. Apparently, permanent marker just adds to the Christmas spirit! 😂

You have definitely been one of the funniest, goofiest, and most entertaining elves we’ve ever had.

Now for the bad news…

Apparently, there was some confusion with your retirement paperwork. You retired from the FIRE DEPARTMENT, NOT the FIREFIGHTER ANGEL FOUNDATION! 😂 Your elf position is a lifetime appointment no pension, no benefits, and absolutely no retirement!

We love you so much and are incredibly thankful for everything you and your family have done for us over the years. We hope you enjoy retirement, make lots of memories, relax, travel, and enjoy not having to go to work…

But come Christmas time, grab the elf suit and the Sharpies, we’ll be calling! 😂

Congratulations, Captain Burch! You’ve earned it! 🚒🎉
