I’m a sinner, born that way. Sometimes the devil can get the best of me. I just hit my knees, close my eyes, bow my head, and thank God when it comes to forgiveness that He don’t give up on me. I’m thankful for Jesus and Gods grace. With that said, Gods grace should spark gratefulness and should create gumption for us to put feet to prayer. There should be a sense of urgency in men to draw our family, friends, and community to Christ. We aren’t promised another day, then what?

Rivers up! With all of the flooding of the rivers into the Mississippi, which created much flooding all over the Delta Along the Mississippi side of the Mississippi River. With all the expected flooding from Kansas to the gulf there will be much need for help once the water goes down. We are looking for potential ways to partner with Churches, groups, organizations, and businesses all over this region to assist in this process.

Do you, like me, find yourself so immersed in what you have going (project, career, calling...) that you look up and see that you’ve ran off and left everything and everyone behind. Wow how fast it can happen. Maybe like me you need to check up and look around and make sure the passion and zeal you have isn’t making you lose site of the original goal. Good intentions not managed properly can result in lost opportunities because we don’t keep our eyes open to them as they are presented.

How do you see yourself in your circle in this life? Have you ever stopped and thought that how you see yourself makes a huge difference in how others see you. Your position in the circle, or herd, that you are associated with in life plays a vital role to its success or failure. You have a position in your family, your classroom, your workplace, and your community. Perception of ourselves generates the manner in how we present ourselves. Present yourself as a contributor to the Kingdom and others will see things from your perspective, and perspective is everything!
