Week 2 of the Joni and Friends Family Retreat has come to an end, and what an incredible week it was! 🌿☀️

Our hikers enjoyed beautiful weather and plenty of smiles while jumping logs and "bench surfing"! Their adventurous spirit, enthusiasm, and willingness to embrace every challenge continue to inspire us.

While we'll have to wait until next year's retreat for more Joni and Friends adventures, the adventure doesn't stop here! Our hikers can sign up through our website to join us for upcoming events throughout the year.

We can't wait to hit the trails with you again! ❤️🥾

As week one of the Joni and Friends Family Retreat comes to a close, our hearts are overflowing with gratitude.

To the parents and caregivers who entrust us with your loved ones, thank you. We don't take that trust lightly. It is a privilege to spend time with such incredible individuals, to share adventures, laughter, conversations, and moments that will stay with us long after the week is over. 🥰

We’re excited to partner with Joni & Friends during their upcoming Family Retreat being held the first two weeks of June in Woodworth, LA! 🌿

Luke 5 Adventures has been invited to offer hiking opportunities during the retreat and extend the invitation to individuals and families outside of the retreat as well.

Yesterday, we had such a wonderful time partnering with Joni and Friends at their Walk 'N' Roll event! 🎶

Luke5Adventures Baton Rouge was honored to be invited to host a resource table and share about our mission of helping people with disabilities experience the beauty of the outdoors. We were excited to showcase the "Rosie" chair and even had the joy of assisting a hiker on his first lap of the event!

Events like these are a beautiful reminder that when organizations and communities come together, doors open for greater accessibility, deeper connection, and shared adventure. We’re grateful for partners like Joni and Friends who share the same heart for inclusion, encouragement, and empowering people of all abilities.
