Inspiring second chances Clay County Supervisor delivers powerful message of hope to incarcerated men:

Clay County supervisor Melvin Raines Sr. recently stepped inside a local correctional facility speaking to a group of incarcerated men. His speech focused heavily on accountability, the power of personal transformation, and the vital importance of preparing to become productive, successful members to society upon release.
A huge shout out is due to Raines for executing leadership that extends beyond the boardroom and directly into the corners of our community that need it most.

First, we would like to give ALL praises, honor, and glory to God for allowing us to have a beautiful sunny weekend. HE allowed the wind to blow us a cool breeze all day and held off the rain this year!! Thank you Lord!! A HUGE thanks to Love Bone for providing the stage, sound, music, and advertising for our event. Thank you to the Clay County Deputies for helping keep us safe and secure. Thank you to all of the committee members for assisting with this awesome event. Thank you to our vendors, we pray that this event was worth you time and that we made you as comfortable as possible. Thank you to EVERYONE who attended this event to make it the success that it was! Thank you to our supervisor Melvin Raines for helping this event run smooth and most of all clean! Thank you to the Clark Family, Voices of Joy, and Genesis United. Thank you to Honey Suckle Blue, Mista E.D., 2 Piece & A Biscuit, The Experience Band, and EJ Soul. UNA our 19th Annual Festival is in the rear view and #20 is loading! Next up July 4th FIREWORKS SHOW!
