📸❤️ Help Us Showcase Crawford County!

Driftless Development is currently building a new website to help showcase Crawford County and the communities that make this place special. As part of that effort, we would LOVE to feature photos taken by people who know this area best.

We’re looking for images that capture the essence of Crawford County. Scenic views, river scenes, valleys, downtown streets, farms, trails, countryside, buildings, and moments of community life with people enjoying these places all help tell the story.

Ideas for photos include:

• bluff views and valleys
• river scenes and bridges
• downtown streets and buildings
• farms and countryside
• trails, parks, and backroads
• seasonal scenes across the county
• community gathering places and local destinations

Photos may include people, but should show the place or setting, not just a close-up portrait.

We would especially love to see photos from across the entire county, including Prairie du Chien, G**s Mills, Soldiers Grove, Ferryville, Seneca, Eastman, Lynxville, Mount Sterling, Wauzeka and the surrounding rural areas.

Selected photos may be featured on the new Driftless Development website and future efforts to promote Crawford County.

🎄✨ It’s officially here — the 16th Annual Festival of Trees kicks off TONIGHT! ✨🎄

We’re starting the celebration with Christmas Trivia & Music BINGO at Old Man River Restaurant & Brewery beginning at 6pm! Bring your holiday spirit for a fun night to launch this magical weekend. 🎶🎅
But that’s just the beginning…
🌟 THURSDAY: Dessert Among the Trees — a sweet, festive preview night!
🌟 FRIDAY: Opening of the Christmas Wonderland Tree Display + evening music + the Spirits of Christmas Pub Crawl (4–8pm).
🌟 SATURDAY: Kids’ free activities (2–4pm), cookie decorating, photos with Santa & Mrs. Claus, the NEW Teddy Bear Tea Party, bake sale, and live performances throughout the day — plus more enchanting holiday music from 5–7pm!
Dozens of beautifully decorated trees will be on display Friday & Saturday, and available to bid on until the silent auction winners are announced at 7pm Saturday, with proceeds supporting local charities. 💚
Come out, celebrate, and make the season bright with us! 🎁🌲

📢RELEASES AND FRIDAY EVENTS📢

Without further ado: Old Forester Barrel Strength and 1792 Bottled in Bond releases! We're excited also announce some Friday night sampling events too!!

Friday December, 6th at 9AM will be releasing one our favorite barrels: Old Forester Barrel Strength. Brown-Foreman is gracious enough to offer us an opportunity at one of these barrels every couple of years, and we couldn't be more excited. Its a HOT one coming in at 130.3 proof and also from warehouse K, floor 3. Price is $85.99 each.

Saturday December, 6th we will be releasing 1792 BOTTLED IN BOND. This is known for being one of top values for the price point and we totally agree! However, we don't get to see a bottled in bond single barrel very often. Coming in at 100 proof and only $43.99 its approachable for every whiskey consumer and affordable.

In addition to these releases we will also have TWO FREE SAMPLINGS on Friday night from 3-6!

OLD FORESTER SINGLE BARREL SAMPLING (3pm-6pm)
Our favorite Blaine will be here from 3pm-6pm pouring free samples of our Old Forester Single Barrel. He's extremely knowledgeable on all things Brown-Foreman and Old Forester, so ask him anything!

LA CROSSE DISTILLING CO. SAMPLING (3pm-5pm)
We're excited to welcome back La Crosse Distilling Company for a FREE sampling. Lee will be here pouring samples of all their whiskies including Buck Dancer Port Cask Finish, Buck Dancer 95 proof bourbon, Heady Bella Coffee Whiskey and Downtown Toodeloo Rock and Rye.
