🔥 Manufacturing has SWAG — and today’s students saw it firsthand! 🔧🚀

Students from River Ridge, Seneca and Prairie du Chien toured manufacturing companies recently, and the energy was unreal. They asked smart questions, checked out the tech, and discovered that modern manufacturing is way cooler than they expected.

You could see the lightbulbs going off:
“I could totally do this.”

Huge shoutout to our local companies for opening their doors and showing students the real opportunities right here in our community. The future workforce? They’re looking bright. 💡🙌

Belmont Students Hit the Road for the Heavy Metal Bus Tour! 🚍

Students from Belmont recently had the exciting opportunity to participate in a Heavy Metal Bus Tour, where they got a firsthand look at some of the incredible manufacturing careers right here in our region!

The tour included stops at:
✅ Biddick Inc. – Innovators in agricultural services and seed production
✅ L&M Corrugated Container – Experts in custom packaging solutions
✅ Lactalis – A leader in dairy product manufacturing

Throughout the day, students explored advanced manufacturing processes, met with industry professionals, and discovered the wide range of career pathways available in these high-demand fields. By stepping inside these facilities, they gained valuable insights into how modern manufacturing blends technology, teamwork, and innovation.

These experiences open doors for students to explore rewarding local careers while helping to strengthen the future workforce. It’s all about connecting the next generation to real-world opportunities! 💼🔩

We’re excited to announce the launch of our Maintenance Academy, an innovative, two-year program designed to help our maintenance leaders across Lactalis USA and Lactalis Canada develop their skills to help continuously improve our facilities. The inaugural cohort of ten participants kicked off their journey last month at our plant in Buffalo, NY. 💪 🧀

The Maintenance Academy emphasizes hands-on experience, complemented by virtual learning modules and opportunities to share best practices with peers. Our Maintenance teams are vital to the success of Lactalis USA, and we are proud to provide growth opportunities.
